Our Rotary Scholarship Committee Chair, Laura Uslan with committee members Kim Tranum and Thom Wiseman, conducted the student interviews on campus at Delta High.  The results are in!

 

On May 1st, the Rotary Club of Walnut Grove proudly honored the 2024 Scholarship recipients.  Our club extends its best wishes on the beginning of your education journey.

 

These scholarships are funded in memory of our Delta families or business associates most of who graduated from Delta High.  

Our Rotary Committee Chair and Co-President, Laura Uslan with committee members Kim Tranum and Thom Wiseman, conducted the 2023 student interviews on campus at Delta High School.  An astonishing 22 applications, essays, and subsequent interviews has resulted in the highest amount of recipients in club history.   Join us on Wed May 17, 2023 at Senior Awards night and witness our clubs presentation of very deserved scholarships.

 

Along with Co-President Laura and Tom, the men and women of the Rotary Club of Walnut Grove are pleased and proud to be awarding these scholarships and extend our congratulations and good wishes to each member of the Delta High School Graduating Class of 2023.

On May 12, 2022, Rotary Club President of Walnut Grove Jan LeRoy, presented the 2022 Senior class 15 scholarships - an incredible number reflecting the higher education bound students.  The committee, lead by Dave Stirling and the Rotary Board unanimously agreed and added the two additional scholarships for the Salutatorians.  Congratulations to all the scholarship recipients who work very hard and earned their recognition.  It has also been announced Dave has retired from the Rotary committee chair and passed his duties to his successor, Laura Uslan.  The Rotary Club of Walnut Grove extends its deepest gratitude to Dave for all his years of hard work and accomplishments mentoring our students.  We too, welcome Laura and know she is the perfect successor for the Scholarship program.
