James L. Frazier Jr.  was born in Martinez, California and currently resides in Discover Bay.  He is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly.  He is a Democrate representing the 11th Assembly District, which encompasses East Contra Costa County, Solano County and a portion of rural Sacramento County - Including Walnut Grove.

Prior to being elected to the Assembly December 3, 2012, he was an Oakley City Councilmember and Mayor
