About the Speakers:

Lupe Rodriguez: I grew up in Courtland and attended Bates Elementary School and Delta High School. After High School, I attended Sacramento State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. I am a registered Professional Civil Engineer and a Registered Traffic Engineer. I have worked for the Sacramento County Department of Transportation in various capacities since 1993. I am currently the Chief of the Operations & Maintenance Division where we are responsible for the overal maintenance of the roadway system in the unincorporated Sacramento County.
 
Melissa Wright: I received my BS degree in Civil Engineering from CSUS and am a registered Professional Civil Engineer and a Registered Traffic Engineer. I am the Principal Civil Engineer over the Design section for the Department of Transportation. My section is responsible for the design and delivery of various capital improvement projects, from sidewalk infill projects to bridge replacement and interchange projects.
