About the Speaker:

Bill has been a Ca;lifornia trial attorney since 1981 and since the mid-1990s has been researching and studying the California Bear Flag which originated in 1846 in the Bear Flag Revolt. Then in 2006, Bill started the online "Bear Flag Museum to share his research and collections. In recent years, the California Flag has had an increase in use in popular culture with T shirts and Baseball Caps being routinely seen.

From The Bear Flag Museum Website:

The Bear Flag Museum is the inspiration of William J. (“Bill”) Trinkle, a California attorney and member of the North American Vexillological Association
(“NAVA”) since 1994.  NAVA is a group devoted to the serious study of flags from a multidisciplinary view.
