Big Dreams, Big Goals have been achieved by the loving family and friends of Tyler Uslan. This heavenly young man continues to have an effect on our community and the youngster of our tomorrow.
The Annual Youth Fire Academy is 3 days of learning, fun, and celebration. It is with the support of our local volunteer WG Firefighters, our TUF volunteers, former academy kids, and a supportive community - directed from heaven above - that makes this event successful. The youth academy brings so much information to our kids while brightening our lives watching the eagerness shown to be a Jr. Fire Fighter.

Another successful call is accomplished by our Jr. Firefighters!
The program was held at WGFD Station #96 (across from Paul Barnes Park and Walnut Grove School).
- Participants: The Youth Fire Academy is geared toward students ages 11-14. The Advanced Fire Academy is for teens ages 15-18 who have previously attended.
- Activities: Participants engage in hands-on fire safety drills, obstacle courses, water rescue, and CPR certification.

The Tyler Youth Fire Academy in Walnut Grove has once again delivered with their 7th Annual Event this June! 🌟
Led with passion and dedication by Mikayla, Tom, and Laura, this remarkable group of volunteers, firefighters, family, and friends come together to provide youth with an unforgettable, hands-on opportunity to learn what it takes to be a firefighter. From PPE relays and community demos to photos, medals, and of course, cake—it’s an event that perfectly reflects the strength of the village coming together.
Here’s to another year of inspiring the next generation and celebrating the spirit of service. 🚒🔥👏
