It’s been a long time since our Rotary International Family has been able to meet in person at the annual Rotary International Convention. Those days are over! I look forward to spending an amazing week with you in Houston from June 4 - 8 2022. Be sure to register for the International Convention NOW! Registration prices go up the end of December. Here’s the link to do so. Just click on register now, complete your registration and you should be good to go!

Our District has secured a block of 50 rooms in Houston at the Doubletree by Hilton Houston Greenway Plaza. The room rate is inexpensive at $139 per night! You may have noticed that this Doubletree is not on the list of hotels set aside for Rotary International. Fear not! This hotel is set aside for our District! The Doubletree Greenway Plaza will have a shuttle to RI’s shuttle getting us to and from the Convention site. The deadline to register for your room, before the block of rooms is released, is May 7, 2022. The dates to reserve your room are June 3 - 8, 2022 with three additional days on either end. Rotary International Convention 2022
Houston, Texas - June 4-8, 2022
Each year, somewhere in the world, the Rotary International Convention takes place in late Spring. Mike and I had the pleasure of attending conventions in Bangkok, Thailand (2012) and Toronto, Canada (2018). I have a fond memory of standing in a lunch line and comparing motherhood, of twelve-year-old boys, with a Rotarian mom wearing a stunning traditional Korean hanbok dress. As we exchanged personal information, I discovered she was South Korea’s Minister of Education. You just never know who you’ll meet at a Rotary International Convention!
