amazing and numerous projects throughout the community. Let's match or beat the 2021 event.
Last Year, Thanks to your generosity, as well as others outside of our club, we raised over $35,000.00. The use of those funds for the many projects we sponsored made a big impact on our community.

Auction Item deadline is closely approaching. Have you made your donation? We publish a catalog of the silent auction items that is electronically distributed the beginning of February 2022. It would be wonderful to include your items and achieve its highest bid offer.

In past years, 2016-2021, this auction has enabled our Club to grant thousands of dollars in scholarships - nearly $75,000 in these past few years alone and over $575,000 from the inception of the auction program. Some of these scholarships were helping students become the first in their families to attend college.
In no particular order, Rotary has also sponsored:

Delta High School student to participate in RYLA - a life-changing Leadership program.

Sponsored $1,500 towards local Jr FireFighter camp.

Provided $8,000 to the Walnut Grove Community Church for the purchase and installation of a new HVAC system for our elders to have a safe zone during extra cold or hot days.

Helped purchase and install new picnic tables for the Dr. Paul Barnes Community Park.

Contributed $10,000 towards refinishing the splendid and original hardwood floors of the Jean Harvie Community Center where many of those in the community taught or went to school.

In those same years, our Club, in conjunction with many, helped at the DEV or Delta Education Vineyard where students managed 2 acres of vineyard.
- Most recently, the Rotary Club of Walnut Grove succeeded in having a Chrome Book for each student at our elementary school and started working on the same idea for second school.

With virtual and distant learning, we have financed 11 hotspots located throughout the community so our students can access the internet for learning.

On the first day of school 2021, President Jan, delivered school supplies from the teachers wish lists.

The Chuck Tison Memorial Park, near the channel gates, has recently been refurbished and ongoing maintenance will be provided by Rotary. A place to remember those we have lost.

A dictionary for every 3rd grader in our district.

Hygienic air filtration system for classrooms.

Desks for students.

Support for families suffering tragic loss.

Rotary speech contest finalists awards.
Past donations have included Cabo and Tahoe vacations, dinners, lunch cruises on the San Francisco Bay and Delta Regions, jewelry, artwork, gift baskets, hunting trips, gift certificates tools, wine and wine tours, toys, amazing spirits, sporting event seats, hotel stays, airplane and helicopter rides, play tickets, BBQ and gardening implements, local art.......and many many other great items.
