What Happens After the Auction?
As many of you know, Rotary operates off the generous donation from its membership, their family and friends, and the community. This year, because of Covid, things were really different. In a short four months, with little to no experience, the membership pulled off an incredible on-line auction.
To keep the oddity rolling forward and we asked the winning bidders to submit their stories and photos as they experience their item. Below, we are sharing those stories and photos. If you are an auction item winner, please send along yours too.

2024 Giusti's Dinner - Complete with Hats, Tablecloths, and Giusti's Owners & Staff
Unbelievable afternoon! As the winning bidder of the 2024 Giusti's Dinner from the Rotary Club of Walnut Grove Scholarship and Fundraiser Dinner, this late afternoon dinner was spectacular.
We walked into the most beautiful setting in Walnut Grove seeing the hats hanging over our table complete with a Giusti's table cloth. The full course dinner, included soup, salad, the famous bread, salami plate with condiments, and the main course. Mark and Linda with their chef and bartender topped it all off with an ample supply of cocktails, conversations, and outright fun!
Many thanks to Larry and Linda Gorham for being a donor and hosting this incredible auction item, Mark and Linda for their gracious community Giusti's Place. The Chef didn't miss a thing, and Mark II poured our glasses to the brim with local wines, ales, and more. The surprise of the day was Doug Hemly crashing the event looking for a Giusti's dinner.
